Jaromil is developing open source since 2000, having created the dyne:bolic GNU/Linux operating system and multimedia applications as HasciiCam, MuSE and FreeJ, for running ascii video streams, web radios and video shows. Nomadic member of the Freaknet brotherhood, he has given birth to the dyne.org foundation to support development of software that run on old computers, preserve users privacy and provide tools for independent media publishing.
He is currently active on Open Source Research & Development for the Netherlands Media Art Institute.
